Concours Fermier d'Or

Farmhouse producers' awards

Reserved for farmhouse producers: those who process the milk from their own herd themselves.

The Concours Fermier d'Or is organised by the Chambres d'agriculture d'Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and rewards products from farms that process their own produce. The 2025 edition was held from 16 to 18 September in Aubière, in Puy-de-Dôme, before more than two hundred judges, and recognised ninety-one farmhouse producers.

The winners are honoured at the Sommet de l'élevage in early October. The competition does not award medals, but first, second and third prizes.
